The motor is to be Plafit Pointer #8636
Rear tires are to be rubber or urethane composition.
Tires are 23mm OD x 17mm ID x 13mm W . They are to fit Plafit Wheels Rear 17mm PLA-8337
Front tires also black sponge or rubber. We use 22mm OD x 16mm ID x 8mm W They fit on Aluminium Front Wheels 17mm x 8.5mm PLA-8317 All tires have to be glued & trimmed to size - Peter at Nomad Raceway does supply wheels & tires assembled The axles are 3mm (3/32") x 55mm long front and rear. ( 3 x 55mm (pair) PLA-8201-C) The rear bushes are also 3mm ( Oilites 3 x 6mm PLA-8242-C) but have to be retained in the chassis as the hole is slightly bigger . I carefully use araldite (solder heat may damage the oilite bush) . No bushes for the front axle - runs in the 1/8th " chassis hole. 3 to 4mm wide spacer bushes are used behind the wheel Front and rear. (Axle Spacer Set for 3mm PLA-8221)
Wheel & tire track dimensions to be within 2mm of the FPR track cars.
The Gear ratio is optional. We use Plafit purple 8501C 10T pinion & Plafit orange crown gear 30T PLA-8531-B or Purple Crown Gear 34T PLA-8531-C.
Body must be coloured and can be vacuum formed . They must have 3 Speedway style numbers
Bodies recommended are .010" clear vacuum formed Sprints plus Gambler SPR#1802, Stanton SPR#1800, Kinser SPR#1803, Osbourne SPR # 1801. We use Sprints plus Body Clips #1051 and clear body tape along where the clips fit. Bodies & drivers can be painted from the inside afer cleaning with detergent. I use water based acrylic paints.
The car must start the race with a roof wing fitted similar to Sprint plus SPR #1850. We retain to the body And the side airfoils with stronger, clear double sided tape (3M is agoodbrand)
The Guide Plafit with Nut PLA-8611 with push in braid (braid & fitting separate - Parma brand)
Magnetic downforce to be 190g maximum - +/- 5gm
