Fulham Park Raceway Tire Rules 

MJK Engineering tires are allowed for all 1/24-scale classes.

Any other brand of tire will require the track owner's approval before use.

No silicon compound tires are to be used and no substances other than water and approved cleaning liquid are to be applied to the tire surface. No Liquid is to be applied to the track surface.

 All tires are to be cleaned or sanded before using the FPR tracks

Any tire washing & sanding  of tires as well as the lubricating of the cars moving parts  must be done only on the test beds provided.

Please clean off the test beds if you deposit any liquid or other substance on them. 

 The tires are to be dry & clean before placing on the race track surface.

The car is not to be lifted by hand to spin the wheels on the track on or above the track surface. 

Please co-operate with these guidelines to prevent friction reducing contaminants being lodged on the track surface.

FPR Vintage Class 1                                                                       

1/24 Scale Front Engine Open Wheel Racing Cars to 1960

1. ANY VACUUM FORMED OR PLASTIC MOLDED BODY IN 1/24TH SCALE  REPRESENTING                                   A FRONT ENGINED GRAND PRIX OR FORMULA 1 CAR RACED IN THE VINTAGE ERA UP TO 1960.               2. THIS INCLUDES FRONT ENGINED INDIANAPOLIS 500 RACING CARS RACED BEFORE 1970.                          3. MODELS OF REAR ENGINE GRAND PRIX CARS PRIOR TO 1945 ARE ALSO ALLOWED.                                   4. THE BODY MUST BE PAINTED AND DETAILED IN RACING LIVERY AND INCLUDE AN INTERIOR AND
     DRIVER FIGURE REPRESENTATIVE OF THE VINTAGE ERA.                                                                            5. THE MODEL CAN HAVE ANY CHASSIS OF INLINE MOTOR CONFIGURATION INCLUDING HOME MADE
     CHASSIS.
6. A MAXIMUM OF 150G TOTAL WEIGHT IS ALLOWED FOR THE CAR INCLUDING ADDED BALLAST.              
7. MAXIMUM FRONT & REAR TYRE AND WHEEL WIDTH 12MM.                                                                         8.  SOLID RUBBER TIRES ONLY. NO SPONGE TIRES ALLOWED.                                                                          9. FPR Vintage Class 2

1/24 Scale Vintage Rear Engined Formula 1 Cars to 1970

1. MUST BE A STANDARD CAR AS MANUFACTURED BY COX, STROMBECKER, MONOGRAM, RUSSKIT,                RINNALI & ATLAS.
2. THE MODEL IS TO REPRESENT A FORMULA 1 CAR THAT COMPETED BEFORE 1970 &                                      MUST INCLUDE AN INTERIOR & DRIVER FIGURE REPRESENTING THE ERA IN WHCH THE FULL SIZED                CAR RACED.
3. THE MODEL CAR IS TO CONSIST OF COMPONENTS AS ORIGINALLY MANUFACTURED.
4. SOLID RUBBER REAR TIRES ONLY
5. MAXIMUM REAR TIRES AND WHEEL WIDTH 12MM
6. MAXIMUM REAR TRACK 65MM
7. MOTORS TO DRAW MAXIMUM OF 3AMPS OPERATING WITH NO LOAD
8. A MAXIMUM OF 150G TOTAL WEIGHT IS ALLOWED FOR THE CAR INCLUDING ADDED BALLAST.

FPR Vintage Class 3

1/24th Scale Vintage Cox GT & Sports Cars                                               

1. MUST BE A STANDARD CAR AS ORIGINALLY MANUFACTURED BY COX
2. ONLY THE COX SIDEWINDER CAST MAGNESIUM CHASSIS IS ALLOWED
3. NO CHASSIS MODIFICATIONS ARE ALLOWED
4. A MAXIMUM OF 150G TOTAL WEIGHT IS ALLOWED FOR THE CAR INCLUDING ADDED BALLAST..
5. CAR MUST INCLUDE INTERIOR & DRIVER FIGURE REPRESENTING THE ERA
6. CHASSIS MUST CLEAR TRACK BY A MINIMUM OF 2MM
7. SOLID RUBBER REAR TYRES ONLY
8. MAXIMUM REAR TYRES 12 MM
9. MAXIMUM REAR TRACK 75 MM
10. MOTORS TO DRAW MAXIMUM OF 3AMPS AT ANY VOLTAGE WITH NO LOAD.

FPR Vintage Class 4

1/24th Scale Production Classic GT & Sports Cars to 1970

1. A BODY OF A SPORTS OR GT CAR RACED UP TO 1970. THE BODY MUST BE REPRESENT THE                           SAME TYPE OF CARS OF WHICH THE MODELS WERE MANUFACTURED WITH ORIGINALY.
2. THE BODY MUST BE EITHER VACUUM FORMED OR MOLDED PLASTIC AND FITTED WITH A                             DRIVER AND INTERIOR. THE BODY IS TO BE OF THE SAME TYPE OF MATERIAL AS WHEN THE                           MODEL WAS MANUFACTURED
3. THE CHASSIS MUST BE ORIGINAL. THE COMPONENTS, INCLUDING THE MOTOR & GEARING                             MUST BE OF THE SPECIFiCATION THE MANUFACTURER USED IN PRODUCTION OF THE MODEL
4. WHEELS ARE TO BE 1/24TH SCALE AND APPEAR LIKE THE WHEELS FITTED TO THE FULL SIZE                            CAR THE MODEL REPRESENTS.
5. SOLID RUBBER REAR TIRES ONLY OF THE DIMENSIONS OF THE ORIGINAL                                                          MANUFACTURE WITH A TOLERANCE OF 2 MM
6. MAXIMUM REAR TYRE AND RIM WIDTH IS AS THE ORIGINAL MANUFACTURER'S                                              SPECIFICATION WITH A TOLERANCE OF 2 MM.

     PREFERRED ALTHOUGH A 3D VAC FORM INTERIOR IS ALLOWED
3.  ANY CHASSIS TYPE ALLOWED INCLUDING HOME MADE
4.  WHEELS ARE TO BE 1/24TH SCALE AND APPEAR LIKE THE WHEELS FITTED TO THE FULL SIZE
    CAR THE MODEL REPRESENTS.
5.  SOLID RUBBER REAR TIRES ONLY.
6. MAXIMUM REAR TYRE AND RIM WIDTH 16 MM.
7.  MAXIMUM OVERALL TRACK 80MM FRONT AND REAR.
8.  AXLE SIZE IS OPEN.
9.  GEARING RATIO IS OPEN.
10. NO BALL RACE BEARINGS , ONLY BUSHES ARE ALLOWED
11. MAXIMUM CURRENT DRAW OF THE MOTOR IS TO BE LESS THAN 3 AMPS WITH NO LOAD.
12. CHASSIS AND COMPONENTS MUST CLEAR TRACK BY A MINIMUM OF 2MM
13. A MAXIMUM OF 150G TOTAL WEIGHT IS ALLOWED FOR THE CAR INCLUDING ADDED BALLAST.


FPR Vintage Class 5

1/25 & 1/24 Scale Stock Car Class.

1. A PLASTIC RESIN MOLDED 1/25TH OR 1/24 TH SCALE MODEL OF A CAR THAT COMPETED IN
     THE AMERICAN N.A.S.C.A.R . RACING EVENT HELD BETWEEN 1960 TO 1975.
2. THE CAR IS TO INCLUDE AN INTERIOR AND DRIVER . THIS CAN BE EITHER RESIN MOLDED OR
      3D VACUUM FORMED.
3. THE CHASSIS IS TO BE INLINE OR SIDEWINDER CONFIGURATION.
4. THE CHASSIS CAN BE AS ORIGINALLY PRODUCED BY A MANUFACTURER OF SLOT CAR
     EQUIPMENT OR A HOME BUILT CHASSIS.
5. THE WHEEL RIMS CAN BE EITHER CAST “MAGS” OR HAVE INSERTS FITTED AND BE 1/2
     4TH SCALE, REPRESENTING WHEELS AS FITTED TO THE FULL SIZE CAR.
6. SOLID RUBBER TIRES ONLY FRONT AND REAR WITH A MAXIMUM WIDTH OF 12MM
7. MAXIMUM OVERALL TRACK IS 80MM FRONT & REAR.
8. THE MOTOR CAN BE ANY TYPE BUT MUST HAVE A CURRENT DRAW OF LESS THAN
    3 AMPS WITH NO LOAD
9.  A MAXIMUM OF 200G TOTAL WEIGHT IS ALLOWED FOR THE CAR INCLUDING ADDED BALLAST.    
10. GEARING RATIO IS OPEN
